MG Motor UK has confirmed that the all-new MGS6 EV will be available this month. Powered by a 77 kWh battery and offering drivers both rear and all-wheel drive options, the MGS6 EV is a spacious, refined and generously equipped C-SUV segment car from MG and has already secured a 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP. Complementing the recently introduced MG IM6 SUV, the MGS6 EV takes MG into new market segments and will continue the brand’s goal to offer customers the latest technologies.
The MG S6 EV is a mid-sized, all-electric SUV that serves as a premium, more spacious alternative to the MG ZS EV. Recently launched globally, it has started appearing in GCC markets for the 2025/2026 model years.
In Qatar, the MG S6 EV is positioned as a family-focused electric SUV that competes with the Tesla Model Y and Volkswagen ID.4, offering a blend of high-end tech and practicality.

The S6 EV is built on MG’s Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) and comes with a standardized battery pack across all trims, prioritizing range and efficiency.

- Charging: Supports DC fast charging up to 144 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 38 minutes.
- Powertrain Options:
- Single Motor (RWD): 244 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It reaches 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
- Dual Motor (AWD): 361 hp and 540 Nm of torque. It reaches 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.
- Range (WLTP): Up to 530 km for the RWD model and 485 km for the AWD performance model.

The cabin is a significant step up in quality for MG, featuring a “floating” tech-centric layout and premium materials.
- Infotainment: A massive 12.8-inch central touchscreen paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It includes integrated apps like YouTube and wireless smartphone connectivity.
- Practicality: It is highly spacious, offering 674 liters of boot space (expanding to 1,910 liters) and a 124-liter “frunk” (front trunk) for extra storage.
- Comfort Features: Higher trims (Trophy) include a panoramic sunroof, head-up display, ventilated wireless phone charging, and an 11-speaker premium audio system.
