100 years after the birth of the first Bentley ‘Super Sports’, the nameplate returns to Bentley for only the fourth Supersports model in history. The new Bentley Supersports is the most driver-focused Continental GT ever, with rear-wheel drive, a two-seat cabin and a gross weight below two tonnes. A non-hybrid, pure internal combustion powertrain has a new 666 PS (657 bhp), 800 Nm twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 at its heart, with power fed through an eight-speed double clutch gearbox to the rear wheels only. Carbon ceramic brakes, new 22” lightweight forged wheels developed with Manthey Racing and an Akrapovič full-length titanium exhaust system are standard, while Pirelli Trofeo RS tyres are available.
Pure Power: The Non-Hybrid V8
In an era of electrification, the Supersports goes “resolutely analogue.” It eschews hybrid assistance in favor of a sharpened internal combustion heart.
- Engine: A re-engineered 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 featuring a reinforced crankcase and larger turbochargers.
- Output: 666 PS / 657 bhp (166.5 PS per litre), with 800 Nm of torque.
- Transmission: A recalibrated 8-speed dual-clutch ZF gearbox with shaper shift strategies and rev-matched downshifts.
- Exhaust: A full Akrapovic titanium system provides a raw, motorsport-inspired soundtrack.

The Lightweight Philosophy
The Supersports is the lightest Bentley in 85 years, tipping the scales at under 2,000 kg (sub-two tonnes). This massive weight saving—nearly 500 kg less than the Continental GT Speed—was achieved through:
- Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD): The first road-going Continental GT to send 100% of its power to the rear axle, removing the heavy AWD hardware.
- Carbon Fiber Everywhere: A carbon fiber roof lowers the center of gravity, while the rear seats have been deleted and replaced with a precision-engineered carbon fiber rear tub.
- Stripped Essentials: Reduced sound insulation and the removal of non-essential driver assistance systems sharpen the connection between car and driver.

Dynamic Engineering
To handle the lateral forces (peaking at 1.3g), Bentley integrated high-performance hardware typically reserved for track-focused machines:
- Manthey Racing Wheels: 22-inch forged alloy wheels developed with the Porsche racing specialists.
- Extreme Aerodynamics: A massive front splitter (the largest ever on a road Bentley), carbon dive planes, and a fixed rear wing generate over 300 kg of additional downforce.
- Chassis Tech: Includes Bentley Dynamic Ride (48V active anti-roll), an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), and carbon-ceramic brakes with 10-piston front calipers.

Driver-Centric Interior
The cabin is a strict two-seater, replacing typical lounge-like comfort with a cockpit designed for high-speed control.
- Lower Seating: New lightweight sports seats are mounted lower in the car to improve the driver’s sense of the chassis’ movement.
- Dinamica Trim: Racetrack-inspired Dinamica fabric is used for extra grip on the steering wheel and seat centers.
- Numbered Plaque: Each car features an individually numbered plaque on the center console, marking its place in the 500-unit production run.
